Japan University is giving a photography exhibition today in room 2D. They are a group of 11 people from a photography club formed at the university. They are showing their work and asking people to choose a favorite from the group. Once you have chosen your favorite, they take a picture of you holding the photo. How will they use the photo…. ?

A group of young illustrators have put together a cast of characters for a mock video game. 18 artists working together to create this cast, and they had a great outcome. Very detailed illustrations and a nice story to go along with it. Come down to the gallery and check it out.

From today we have a new artists showing some nice video work. His video deals a lot with light and color. It is mostly experimental in its form and he adds text to bear meaning. It runs with soothing music and feels quite nice. Come down and check it out.

Jonetsu climber is a group of artists currently exhibiting Painting and Illustration in room 1-B. They have a nice touch for detail and a great mix of styles. Come check them out. Also, they have one illustration our veteran BLOGGER Nigel will really take a liking too… Ill post it here first.

He is a 26yr old freelance photographer here in Tokyo. His work experience includes advertising photography and imaging. He is also a photographic artist in his free time. His focus is on photographic design and he is very good with color and composition. He is planning on going over seas to broaden his portfolio. Really professional work. Come down and check it out.

Kate “Dragons Hall”, is the name of the current exhibition in room 1-C here at the gallery. A very nice display of dragons in motion, mostly done with what appears to me to be water colors. The softness of the color and the feathering caused by the paints helps to create an illusion of movement in the paintings. Very nice work and very creative. Come down and check it out.
