General information

  • Any genre of work can be shown as long as it's original. (Films, Drama play, Dance performance, VJ and more.)
  • Film work should be Japanese compatible DVD (Region code 2/NTSC format) or NTSC format VHS tape. Please submit it by April 30th 2011.
  • There are two types of show.
  • Regular show takes 30 min or more.
  • Work less than 20 min will be included in Short Short program.
  • Equipment (including cables, etc.) to connect with RCA such as DV, PC, etc. can be brought for use.
    Set-up and pack up are included in your show time.
    Basic set will be provided. (Please refer to the following list for equipment details.)

  • It is possible to design our Mini-theater Space backdrop. Please contact us for more detail.

Exhibition Fee

1 Show (30 min.) 10,500yen
Additional (5 min.) + 2,100yen
Additional (30 min.) + 10,500yen

1 Short Show (5 min.) 2,100yen
Additional (5 min.) + 2,100yen

※Consumption tax is included.

- Works less than 20 minutes will be included in the Short Short Show.
One exhibitors pass is included per group. Please apply for extra passes if required.

Application

  1. Please fill in the online form with title, show plan, running time, synopsis and photos of your work when submitting the application form. Application forms are also acceptable by mail or directly to the office.
  2. After your submission, please send us completed works or samples (NTSC format VHS tape or Japanese compatible DVD) by mail or bring directly to the Design Festa Office.
  3. You will be informed once the schedule has been decided.
  4. After receiving confirmation, please pay by registered mail, bank transfer or in person at the Design Festa Office within 2 weeks. Please understand that you may not be able to perform if we have received many applications or a delay in payment.

  • The deadline for application is February 14th. Please apply as early as possible to avoid missing your chance.
  • After the confirmation of your participation, please send/bring your completed work (NTSC format VHS tape or Japanese compatible DVD) to our office by April 30th 2011. Please understand that submitted items are not returnable.
