Note!

■Note! for All Applicants

  • Once all booths are sold out, no further applications will be accepted.
    The deadline for event area applications is February 26.
  • If you apply for both a booth and the event area please make your payment for the booth first, and once informed of your participation in the event area please pay the event fee.
  • Extra passes and parking tickets can be purchased on the day required.
  • Using fire or naked flames in the hall is prohibited without the prior approval of the Fire Department. If required as part of an exhibition, please contact the Design Festa Office at least a month before the event with the source catalogue (e.g. gas can or nature of open flame) and number. We will request pemission together. LPG gas cylinders cannot be brought into the event hall without permission. Thank you for your understanding.
  • The use of aerosol spray paint is not permitted inside Tokyo Big Sight.
  • Having hair and make-up salons for business in the event hall is prohibited by the Health Department, even if you have a hairdressing license. For details, please contact Design Festa Office. Creating hair and make-up as part of a fashion show or individually is permitted.
  • Only original art works can be exhibited.
    Please note the exhibition of other items is prohibited and these will be removed, and we may refuse your application using our own discretion. Please understand that the fee is not refundable.
  • The Design Festa Office accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, damage, injury or any other accident.
  • Please understand that the fee is not refundable even if you cancel your participation.
  • Pictures taken at the venue and materials submitted to us may be used for printed papers and advertisements by the Design Festa Office. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Design Festa Office accepts no responsibility for exhibitors or artists work regarding copyright laws. Design Festa Office will not mediate any disputes between exhibitors, artists or any other parties regarding copyright.
  • If the event is cancelled due to special cases such as natural disasters, transportation problems etc., please understand the fee is not refundable.

■Note! for Booth Applicants

  • Booth location will be decided in advance by the Design Festa Office based on the order that application forms and payments are received.
    Please confirm booth availability with us if you apply after the middle of February.
  • The Artist or Group name will appear in the Design Festa pamphlet if the application is completed by February 26th.
  • If you require a location near other booth exhibitors, please give your reasons in the application form, and apply and make payment at the same time as the other exhibitors.
    Please understand that your request may not be possible due to limited booth numbers and/or exhibition date differences.
  • If you decide to play music, please be considerate of your neighbors.
  • Exhibitors are free to use their own partitions and display materials, but due to fire regulations, please use only flame-resistant products. The Fire Department officer will ask you to remove flammable materials when making their inspection.
  • Flame-resistant rental equipment is available. An application form for rental equipment will be sent later by mail with other exhibitors information.
  • If you require a 2-storied booth, over 4m height or with a ceiling, you need to get permission from the Fire Department. Please inform Design Festa Office of your booth plan beforehand, and we will make the request together.
  • You cannot use wall electric outlets in the hall due to fire regulations.
  • Using space other than your booth area is prohibited.
    Please keep your exhibition within your booth space.
  • If you require to be hung anything from the ceiling, please contact us in advance as the ceiling is very high.
  • There is no storage place. Please keep your luggage within your booth space, or use the coin lockers at the venue.
  • If you intend to exhibit food or drinks in your booth, excluding canned and bottled goods, you need to obtain permission from the Health Department. Please inform the Design Festa Office beforehand.
  • Please apply early if you live outside of Japan because we need extra time to deliver the exhibitors' information.
    Please contact us if you have not receive your exhibitors' information 2 weeks before the event.
