- Once all booths are sold out, no further applications will be accepted. The deadline for 'Event Area' applications is Friday, January 14th, 2011.
- Only 100% original art works can be exhibited.
- Please note that the exhibition of other items is prohibited and will be removed at our discretion, in which case please also understand that the registration fee is not refundable.
- The Design Festa Office accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, damage, injury or any other such accidents
- Design Festa Office accepts no responsibility for exhibitors' or artists' work with regards to copyright laws.
- Pictures taken at the venue, and materials submitted to us, may be used for promotional and advertising purposes by the Design Festa Office. Thank you for your understanding.
- If the event is cancelled due to special circumstances such as natural disasters, transportation problems etc., please understand that your registration fee is non- refundable.
【About Payment】
- Please understand that your registration fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your participation.
- Please first confirm booth availability with us if applying/payment after the middle of December 2011.
- If applying for both a booth and an event area presentation, please make your booth payment first. Then, once your event participation has been confirmed, please pay the event fee.

【About application】
- Only 100% original art works can be exhibited.
- Registration will be completed once your application form has been received and your payment has been confirmed.
- Please make your payment as soon as possible to ensure your participation as booths sell out quickly.
- Please first confirm booth availability with us if applying/payment after the beginning of August 2010.
- Once all booths are sold out, no further applications will be accepted.
- Exhibitors passes and parking tickets can be purchased only for the same date as your exhibition.
【About booth location】
- Booth location will be decided in advance by the Design Festa Office based on the order that applications and payments are received. Requests for spcific booth location can’t be accepted.
- If you require a location near another exhibitor's booth, please state your reasons when making both of your initial application(s), and apply and complete both your payment(s) at the same time. Please understand that your request may not be possible due to the limited location of booths available, and/or due to artists exhibiting on different days.
- Booths cannot be connected due to size and/or exhibition date differences.
- If you require back-to-back booths, we may be able to accommodate your request in the middle of available rows.
【About setting up booth】
- Booth areas are only marked on the floor by tape. No partitions are included.
- Exhibitors are free to use their own partitions and display materials, however, due to fire regulations, please use only flame-resistant products. The Fire Department reserves the right to remove any flammable materials when making their inspection.
- Flame-resistant rental equipment is available. An application form for rental equipment will be sent later by mail with your other exhibitors information. Applicants will receive Exhibitors Information packages by mail at the beginning of October. Please inform the other members of your group.
- If you require a 2-storied booth, over 4m in height, with a ceiling, you must get permission from the Fire Department. Please inform the Design Festa Office of your booth plan beforehand, and we will make the request together.
- You cannot use electric wall outlets in the hall due to fire regulations.
- For electrical outlets (500W, 2 plugs), apply to Design Festa Office at least 3 weeks beforehand. You can apply on the day of the event, but it will take longer to set up.
- Using space other than your booth area is prohibited, so please keep your exhibition within your allotted booth space.
- If you wish to hang items from the hall ceiling, please contact us in advance to make arrangements, as the ceilings are very high.
- There is no storage place. Please keep your luggage within your booth space, or use the venue's available coin lockers.
【About exhibition】
- Using fire/flame in the hall is prohibited without prior approval of the Fire Department. If required as part of our exhibition, please inform Design Festa Office at least one month before the event with detailed information (eg. LPG gas can or nature of open flame). We will request it together. LPG gas cylinders cannot be brought into the event hall without permission.
- Aerosol spray paint is NOT permitted inside Tokyo Big Sight.
- Having a hair and make-up salon for business purposes in the event hall is prohibited by the Health Department, even if you are a licensed hairdresser. For more details, please contact Design Festa Office. Creating hairstyles and using make-up as part of a fashion show or individually, is permitted.
- If you decide to play music, please be considerate of your neighbors.
- Only 100% original art work can be exhibited. Please note the exhibition of other items is prohibited and will be removed.
- Design Festa Office may refuse your application at our own discretion, in wihich case please understand the registration fee is non-refundable.
- If you intend to exhibit/sell food or drinks from your booth (excluding canned and bottled goods) you need to obtain permission from the Health Department. Please inform the Design Festa Office beforehand.
- "Exhibitors information” will be sent to applicants only at the beginning of October. Please inform other members of your group.
- Artwork can be shipped. Please read “Exhibitors information” which will be sent later for details.
