Design Festa is a freestyle International Art Event open to all artists, both professional and non-professional from all over the world to exhibit their creative talent. Design Festa is the biggest art event in Asia, with approximately 53,000 visitors and 7,000 exhibitors. Design Festa started in 1994 and as of May 2008 we've successfully completed 27 events as well as 3 sub-events. This art event is held twice a year at Tokyo Big Sight, the biggest event hall in Japan.

Design Festa is the ideal place for passionate artists who are looking for a great opportunity to show their artwork to a very large audience from all over the world. As well as the numerous art fans and music lovers who attend this event, Design Festa receives a high level of exposure from the media including the BBC, APTN, CBS, AFP, and Canal+, to name a few.

Design Festa welcomes all exhibitors from various genres and countries. We have no sponsors, restrictions, or age limit. We are open to any genre as long as it is original work.
This two day event is guaranteed to stimulate creative energy amongst all visitors and exhibitors.

BOOTH / MINI-BOOTH / ATRIUM-BOOTH
DesignFesta_exhibitionBooths are used by exhibitors to exhibit their work. The event hall is divided into 2,600 booths, mini-booths and atrium-booths. Exhibitors can rent out as many booths as they wish depending on how much space they want to utilize. There are three types of booths: Booths, Mini-booths and Atrium-booths in the Regular Lighting Area and Dimmed Lighting Area.
Each Booth measures 1.8m x 1.8m (5.9 feet x 5.9 feet), a Mini-booth measures exactly half of a regular booth and Atrium-booths measures 2.1m x 2.1m (6.8 feet x 6.8feet).
In the Dimmed Lighting Area, you can exhibit multimedia work, light orientated art, performance, etc...

OUTDOOR LIVE-SHOW STAGE
DesignFesta_musicThis stage is reserved only for music performances. Musicians of any genre can perform on this Outdoor Live-show Stage.

INDOOR STAGE
This stage is for all types of performances that require a stage space. Performances include fashion shows, live-painting, acoustic live music, dance, acting, and more!

Fashion, Performance and one hit action!... you can participate in the 1 Walk Show (525yen)! Not only fashion but many other genres of expression too!

MINI-THEATER SPACE
DesignFesta_Mini-TheaterThis space is for showing all types of film work or film-related performances including experimental art vision, documentaries, drama, visual jockey, performance art and more!

Short Short
This is a program consisting of short films. Works less than 20 minutes in duration will be screened.
