We found out about the gallery and the event when we went to eat at Sakura-tei. The hat maker from Osaka had some cute hats. We can't help but wonder what these people were thinking when they made these pieces so it's a lot of fun finding out the details there. It makes us happy to know that these artists are making so much effort.

It's rare to have a chance to show your works, so i think the artists get more excited showing things to anyone out there. It'll be great to see their talents grow by providing them with chances to show the world what's out there.

We came to check out DETROIT JAXX's video installation. We were impressed by the performance using video images and lights. to make a suggestion, you should create a roof sort of thing to prevent extra lights from coming in. We also saw some people riding on skateboards which were kind of dangerous to have indoors. we'd like to try some of the workshops at the next Design Festa event!

Fukuyama/Architect/52/Chiba
My friend is here to show her works so we are her to support! The live music was very impressive. A lot of bands with different kind of music were there, and we especially liked the Jazz band. The Samba performance was great too. Hope you guys keep up the good work!

Hayley Read/UK/Kindergarten Teacher
Hayley learned about the Design Festa before she came to Japan and was keen to get involved. This year, she was slowly observing. "This is my 3rd visit, it's smaller but the Chicken and chips were wonderful."

Jeff Huffman/USA/English Teacher
Jeff discovered Design Festa through a friend of a friend who has a booth. He says he likes it, although he's not the kind of person to visit such events. He finds the 1,000 yen entrance price a little steep.

Jula Pollitt/USA/Assistant Language Teacher
This is Julas' 1st visit to the Design Festa, after she hear about it from a friend. "So far I've quite enjoyed it. I wish that there were more small things for sale that weren't postcards. There's a lot of postcards and unfunctional things, but I like them."

A Girl in Red Shoes/Artist/53/Osaka
I heard about Design Festa from a friend and I came to take a look for the first time. QuietRoom is a friend of mine and I was invited to see the exhibition. As an artist, I've got some creations of my own that I make it for fun, not exactly for sale. This event was like a cultural event at a school and it was a lot of fun.

Found out about this event through Design Festa gallery and we've been checking it out ever since. it's an awesome event! You can get one of a kind things like postcards and Indie band CDs. We had lunch at "Mugitoro-jin" and it was delicious! Love to be part of the event someday.

Kasai (right)/Designer for seal case
A friend of mine (ARTLIVE's Mr.Fujita) has a booth so I came here for the first time. Designing seal cases isn't always exciting considering it's a conservative product, but at some point, I'd like to start making some fancy designs. It'd be nice get some inspirations by being here. I'm so amazed by the scale of this place and the number of audience. Plus, it made me realize the infinite ways of creating art. They had not only the ones that I wanted to see, but the ones that I couldn't help stopping my feet and check them out.

Andrew Murrey/UK/Assistant Language Teacher Trainer
This is Andrew's 2nd visit to the Design Festa, after he heard about it from a friend. "I feel like I'm in a Jackie Chan film, especially with the eyeball. I've seen a lot of stuff which is all exactly the same as the last thing I just saw, but I've also seen a lot of cool stuff.

Josh Pelloe/US/Student
Josh found out about Design Festa when a friend of his had a booth. He described it as "amazing." He's been to the gallery several times, and thought that today's event would be on a smaller scale.
